New Hatchford cast file - Chimpette

And finally, here's arguably the central character to the adventures of New Hatchford - the Chimpette.  Originally a gender-swapped Chimp, she is now part of her own adventures that is now the focal point of this page.  She is largely unchanged since her introduction, but now has regular people to interact with.

Ambiguously Brown: It's implied that she's Filipino only due to who she is based off of.
Agony of the Feet: Anyone who does their missions barefoot will experience this.  Chimpette's feet are very sensitive, but they are surprisingly durable.
Big Good: As the focal point of these adventures and being a respected member of her local community in New Hatchford, the Chimpette fits this role.
Cute Clumsy Girl: More often than not when on her secret missions.
Distaff Counterpart: If you didn't know she was a female version of the Chimp, either you are new here or little slow on the uptake.
Does Not Like Shoes: The reasons behind the Chimpette's constant barefootedness combine Darlene's personal comforts and Mairead's justifications - the latter of which is explained below.
Highly Visible McNinja: She really tries to be stealthy by wearing dark colours, but her lack of graceful movement means her stealth skills are poor.
Plucky Girl: Out of her depth athletically, lacks combat skills and often gets captured, but the Chimpette is driven by pure optimism and determination.
Self-Deprecation: The Chimpette really doesn't take herself seriously at all.
Smelly Feet: A somewhat unique twist of this trope, in that when the Chimpette's feet smell due to wearing closed shoes, it doesn't repel anyone.  Quite the opposite, in fact.  It attracts animals and some people into licking them - something she finds torturous to endure due to how ticklish her feet are.
So Beautiful, It's a Curse: Not the Chimpette herself, but her large (for her height) feet.  As mentioned above, wearing closed shoes and footwear gives the Chimpette's feet that attractive odour.  When she wears open shoes or goes without them, they attract attention from many people - sometimes to the point that they want to tickle and worship them.  Either way, the Chimpette's feet have a tendency to induce hidden foot fetishes, and they give her constant problems.
Team Mom: To the four girls at university and Darlene, as the Chimpette is the oldest of them, supervises those who volunteer at her workplace, and occasionally drives their equipment around to shows and concerts.

Real life inspirations of the character
Aside from being based of the now-retired Chimp character, the Chimpette's personality takes cues from both "Ugly" Betty Suarez and WWE announcer Renee Young.  Both of whom are characterised as the straight foil to the more outrageous personalities in their shows, as well as be the butt of jokes.  In fact, Renee has a habit of barefootedness and knack for self-deprecation that the Chimpette would be proud of.
